Miscellaneous this & that..........

Okay so I am a total loser and really need to post something but I really haven't done anything exciting at all. We are headed to Vegas to the Monster Truck finals this weekend so I will finally have something good to post. So I will post a little of this & that.

First off Bostyn got a new four-wheeler and Chevy was trying to teach him how to do wheelies in the front yard. It was so cute he is such a great Dad, but I think Boss is still a little to small to be doing wheelies on a four-wheeler. (You never know with him though he could be doing it next week)

Another fun moment and my husband might kill me for posting these pictures of him on the blog was when he let the kids take the markers to him for about 45 minutes, I totally forgot to get a picture when they were totally done, but he was covered from head to toe.

We also had a surprise 60th birthday party for Chevy's dad and got a picture of the whole family. We had a great time I finally got to meet Chevy's grandma Marjorie, she is such a sweet lady. John (Chevy's Dad) was so suprised, he had no idea we planned a suprise party and was actually mad at us because none of us knew if we should say anything so we all acted dumb when he asked about getting the family together, knowing that we had this suprise party planned.

In the last couple of weeks I have been going through old family pictures and I can't believe how much my Dad and Bostyn look a like as kids. Tell me what you think.

New Years Eve Party......2009

So me and Chevy decided to have a new years party at our house this year...... we had so much fun Jayson & Haley brought over their poker table not that we really used it and Ryan and Ali brought Rockband. We had a ridiculous amount of food as you can see.
Heidi rockin out on the drums me on the guitar and Haley singing
Chelsee singing

Chevy, Randen & Ryan wrestling I could really kick all of their butts they bend my theater couches downstairs! But men and their egos, they have to see who's tougher.
Me and Chelsee I think we took like 15 pictures to get one we both liked, she's probably going to kill me for posting this but check out this one she kept closing her eyes so she was holding them open.......

Time to catch up.......Christmas morning

Okay so I haven't posted for about a month so I am going to try to sum it all up so it might be kinda long...actually I might do it in a couple of posts. So christmas eve we had to put the reindeer food out on the lawn see below me outside in the blowing snow
Braylee & Bostyn watching me out the front window
My mom and dad made cookies with them the a couple of nights before so we were able to put those out and they were so excited about the fact that they made the cookies......thanks Mom & Dad.

Christmas morning was total crazyness which it always is at our house. My Mom and Dad come over and stay all day so we don't have to leave anywhere and Chevy's mom either comes by Christmas eve or day. So it is so nice we never have to go anywhere the kids get to stay home all day and play with their toys and I get to clean up a huge mess all day which is totally worth it to see the excitement they have christmas morning.

This is right before they get to see all their toys and Chevy was teasing them so bad with wanting to take more picture I thought they were both going to have a breakdown.

The big reveal at first they didn't know what to do it was so funny

Bostyn with his T-Rex my Mom & Dad bought him & opening their ridiculous amount of presents. Between me and my Mom we go completly overboard.

Chevy trying to hook up the Nintendo Wii he was so excited about it.

We spent the day playing the Wii (me and Chevy and our competitions) and playing with toys & games with the kids and me cleaning up of course. We had a great christmas minus the fact that my Grandma & Grandpa didn't make it this year due to the weather, we missed them..........

Braylee's Dance Recital

Tonight was Braylee's half-year Dance Recital. Her and Avery are in dance class together and she loves it. She has been anticipating this for the last two weeks so needless to say she was so excited tonight and wanted to invite everyone but I thought I might be easier if I just post the video and pictures from the night. You will have to pause the music on the bottom of my blog to hear the music to her dance. It was to "Mama I'm A Big Girl Now" from "Hairspray" soundtrack.

I absolutely love their costumes.
Braylee and Avery before the recital

As you can see she loves to pose.
Braylee waiting for her dance to start
Dancing
My Mom & Dad - They were so proud of her

Bostyn & Brooklyn (Doesn't he look like a mischevious little stink)

Here is the video, bear with the camera movement and editing. Don't forget to pause the music at the bottom so you can hear the song the dance is to.

Twilight Movie Madness.........

Okay, So I am going to admit it.....In the last month I have turned into a total Twilight GEEK!!!! I am completely obsessed. I started reading the books on October 20th because my friend Haley asked me if I wanted to go to the movie and brought me over the book. So I figured I would give it a chance even though I "hated" reading (or so I thought). So I started on a Monday night and finished the first book on a Wednesday Night. (yeah I know I am a freak I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning both nights.) I was so worried about finishing the first book and not being able to find out what happens that I went and bought all four of the books on Wendesday. I read all five (including Midnight Sun) in 3 weeks and read Twilight again before the movie came out on Thursday Night. (yes, I know total geek) So needless to say I was so excited for the movie. I have to honestly admit that I picked the movie apart the first time when I went with the girls I gave it 6 out of 10, but we went again on Friday night with our husbands and it was so much better the second time I gave it a 8.5. Chevy thought it was a really good movie and even admitted that it made him really curious and now he wants to try to read the books. (Can I tell you how much better it is when you are passionate about something and your husband totally supports it) So here are my pictures of me and the girls being total geeks on Thursday night, then Friday night with our husbands. I am going to try to go again tomorrow if my Mom & Dad will go with me and convince Chevy to go again.

This is by Red Robin in the Mall. People were walking by laughing at us.

Waiting in line in the lobby of Cinemark to get in the movie we played Phase 10, I was so excited I couldn't get into the game

All of us waiting for the movie to start we did quizzes that Haley was creative enough to make up and played "Twilight" hangman.

Me and my friend Allison

I laughed so hard, It was a lot of fun.

Me and my friend Brandie. I think everyone in the theater thought we were totally crazy because we all had our cameras so between 6 people getting a picture there were flashes going off like crazy.

Friday Night with our husbands. We went and ate at Ruby River and headed over to the Theater to stand in line. I have to say all of our Husbands were so supportive, I was so proud of all of them to endure our crazyness.

Austin, Carly, Jayson & Haley

Brandon & Heidi

Wade and Brandie were there but they sat up farther in the Theater and I totally forgot to get a picture of them.
