My 30th Birthday Party in Park City

What a fun night! that was definately a birthday to remember! We started the evening off by driving to Park City in a very scary snow storm. Me, Chevy, Chelsee, Randen & Ryno went to eat dinner at Dolan's Bar and Grill which was great food! Everyone showed up around seven and we hung out and headed to Harry O's around nine. We danced our butts off and had a great time! Thanks to all my wonderful friends who made it, snowstorm and all! I love you guys!

We found this sach and everyone made me wear it to the club!

Chelsee lighting the candles on the cake she brought me (what a sweetheart and an awesome best friend I might add)

Some of our group hanging out and the table we rented!

Chevy, Dave & Ty

Our crazy elevator ride back to the condo! I was laughing so hard! I actually celebrated my 21st birthday at Harry O's and it was also one to remember! But I think this one beat it by a long shot!

We had a great time! I laughed more than night than I have laughed in a long time! Good times, Good Memories & Great Friends!

Merry Christmas!

Family Pictures......

So we finally got family pictures taken after three years, (yes I know I am a slacker with that too not just the blogging thing). I absolutely love them, MacKenzie & Kiley did such a great job and really caught my kids personalities! Thanks Brandie for suggesting them, they are awesome. Here are just a few, and I have to say that I have the cutest kids ever!

She has the most beautiful blue eyes ever!
This is so Bostyn
Now I have to try to decide what ones I am going to have printed!

October 2009

Yeah I know it is December 1st and I am posting stuff from October! I have decided I am the biggest slacker when it comes to this blog thing! I would really like to do it more but I don't ever think about it. I will take this opportunity to catch up a bit.

October was a great month for us. Braylee turned 7 years old, we went to Lagoon the weekend before her birthday, me and Chevy did the Catapult launch. It was so funny if you haven't seen it search youtube for "Chevy and Amberlie Catapult" This would be us right before we rode the ride.

We celebrated Braylee's actual bithday at the Sand Dunes for the second year in a row. I had to throw in the picture of Bella sleeping with the kids in the motorhome.

Chevy's costume was named "scary as he**" and I was a Pirate. We went to a great Halloween Party....Isn't he scary!
and we had so much fun trick or treating with the kids. We decorated the Rhino and hauled them around the neighborhood (I think this has become a new tradition.)
Bella our sweet "Hot Dog"
Bostyn the Zombie and Braylee was a Vampiress!

Time for an Update....

So I have decided I am a total slacker when it comes to this blog thing.... so I guess I will give a little update.

We bought a new sandcar in June and Chevy spent most of the summer working on it.

We made a few trips to the dunes, had some fun parties with friends, lived at 7 peaks for a few weeks, my kids were in swimming lessons, I signed up for classes at UVU. Chevy is working hard as usual and enjoying his new love (meaning his sandcar). Braylee is in first grade now and Bostyn starts his second year of preschool in September. For most of you I am already friends with you on Facebook so you have been updated. I think this might work out better if I do something small once a week.

Our New Addition to the Family....Bella

Meet our sweet new addition to our family her name is Bella, we adopted her from Lost Paws animal shelter. She is three months old. I really didn't want to do the puppy thing but she was so cute and the kids loved her, so wish me luck on the potty training. I think I am going to invest in the series of Dog Whisperer on DVD. She is so sweet and calm, I really hope she stays that way, I guess we will see.

Monster Truck Finals in Las Vegas

What a weekend.......I have to say that we had so much fun, so I guess I will break it down by day.

Thursday we drove to St. George and went shopping, then we headed over to see my Grandma & Grandpa, It was great to see them. After about two hours of visiting we went to Mesquite and stayed at the Eureka. Braylee & Bostyn were dying to swim even though it was 50 degrees and the wind was blowing, I couldn't tell them no. Thank goodness the pool and hot tub were heated so they were warm but I was freezing just watching them.
On Friday we drove to Vegas, we went to the M&M Factory and walked the strip which was pretty scary, I think we saw our life flash before our eyes 2 or 3 times just crossing the road. The kids thought it was pretty neat seeing all the Hotels & Casinos.
After we checked into our room we headed over to Circus Circus Adventure Land. Braylee & Bostyn had so much fun riding the rides, they also got airbrush tattoos.
Braylee wanted her hair braided which only took about ten minutes, it is amazing how fast they can braid. Chevy & I had our portrait done by a Caricature Artist. At about 10:30 we went back to our room and the kids were out like lights.

On Saturday we decided to go to the Hoover Dam since the kids had never seen it and I hadn't been there since I was a kid. Chevy was a nervous wreck, if the kids even wanted to look over the side he was freaking out, legs shaking and all, he was physically sick when we got in the car to leave from his fear of heights. It is amazing to me that he will jump his sand rail and race up and down Sand Mountain at 80 miles and hour, which makes me physically sick from the adrenaline rush, But you put him on a bridge or dam and he is a mess.
After the dam, we went to the pit party at Sam Boyd Stadium. As you can see the kids were able to sit in Grave Digger, and see all the Monster Trucks up close.
The highlight of Bostyn's weekend is when he got to see Travis Pastrana. Bostyn lives for Nitro Circus on MTV on Sunday nights, he absolutely idolizes Travis Pastrana, so when he was able to see him in real life all he kept saying was "Mom, that's the guy that does the back flip on motorcycles, I see him on TV, and I am going to be like him one day." I have to say I actually believe he probably will be doing a back flip on his motorcycle one day. We didn't want to wait in the mile long line for his autograph so we walked up to the front of the line to see if we could see him and he looked right at us and waved and gave a thumbs up for the picture. It was pretty cool, I have to say I was starstruck.

After we watched the parade of all the trucks head over to the stadium, We had great seats thanks to Paul. One of the trucks lost his breaks and rolled into the stands, If I was one of those people watching that truck come at me I think I would have had a major accident if you know what I mean. During the Freestyle competition almost every single truck rolled, it was so cool to see these guys who have put everything into these trucks completely destroy them.

Maximum Destruction ended it with a back flip which Bostyn loved. We had a great time, and are already planning on going back next year, I have to say it was the coolest motor sports event I have ever been to and I would suggest anyone who likes motor sports or horsepower to go, It is something to see. It will be airing on TV soon so I will let you know when so you can see what I am talking about.
